Obstructive Sleep Apnea

What is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?

Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. Several types of sleep apnea exist, but the most common is obstructive sleep apnea, which occurs when your throat muscles intermittently relax and block your airway during sleep. The most noticeable symptom is snoring.

What are my options?

The most common way to treat obstructive sleep apnea is a CPAP mask. Those are used by many during sleep to keep from snoring and get better sleep. The CPAP mask is large and for the most part, scary looking.

The alternative to the large, scary, cumbersome masks would be the very easy to use Moses mouth guard. The Moses is an open-anterior airway dilator and one of the efficient and effective methods for treating primary snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. This custom-fitting, FDA-approved device is worn in the mouth at night to treat obstructive sleep apnea, hypopnea and snoring.
